Meet the team

Andy qualified from Leeds University in 2006 and has since worked as both a general dental practitioner and a dentist with special interest in Endodontics, going on to complete his Masters in Endodontology at the University of Chester. Andy has many years of experience saving teeth that are challenging to repair, and which require advanced care and specialised techniques.

Dario is a Spanish dentist who graduated in dentistry at the European University of Madrid in 2011. When he finished his studies he went to Peru to cooperate with an NGO who helped to improve the oral hygiene of the local Community. In 2012 he moved to Chester where he has been living since.

He started working in a small practice in Chirk and then in 2014 he changed his job to work in a Bupa Practice in Colwyn Bay, both in North Wales. After working for a year in the new practice he became the Lead Dentist. In this role he worked creating a patient centered team in a nice working environment. Dario finished a 2 year Masters Degree in Periodontics, Dental Implants and Oral Surgery from the Mississippi Institution in Madrid Spain in September 2019. This Masters has given him skills and knowledge to achieve satisfactorily Simple and Complex Periodontal Treatment, Periodontal Surgery, Mucogingial Surgery, Abilty to place Dental Implants and also Compressive implants. He has learned and achieved bone grafting, sinus lifts and 3rd molar extractions. He has presented two posters in SEPA (Spanish Society of Periodontology an Osseointegration) congress in 2018 and 2019 where he is member.

Dario has been upgrading his skills and knowledge attending different courses in different areas of dentistry. For example: In 2014 he went to Cuba to attend a surgical residency where he learnt to extract surgically wisdom teeth and retained roots. In 2015 he finished a one year Expert Title in aesthetics from CEODONT in Madrid which included Porcelain veneers, composite in aesthetic sector, inlay and periodontal aesthetics.

Addys, originally from Cuba, graduated in dentistry at the European University of Madrid in 2010. She worked with an NGO helping people who couldn’t afford dental treatment, after this she decided to move to the UK where she has been working since.

She has achieved great experience in general dentistry working in Gobowen, Penrhyndeudreth, Mold and Colwyn Bay.

Addys finished in July 2019 a 2 year World recognized Masters Degree in Endodontics in Madrid, Spain.

This Masters has given her skills and knowledge to achieve satisfactorily multiple complex cases such as treatment in single and multi-rooted teeth, root canal revascularization, apicoformation with bioceramic materials, calcified canals, re-treatments, treatment of perforations, periapical surgery, treatment of teeth with complex anatomy including: entomolaris, curved canals and multiple canals, training in all different rotatory files systems, microscope and CBCT scan, treatment of dental trauma, training with different obturation techniques.

Her Masters thesis was an investigation in Fracture Resistance of teeth obturated with different techniques.

Over these years Addys has been upgrading her skills and knowledge attending different courses in different areas of dentistry. For example:

In 2014 she went back to Cuba to attend a surgical residency where she learnt to surgically extract wisdom teeth and retained roots.

In 2015 she finished a one year Masters in Occlusion and Prosthodontics in the European School of Oral Rehabilitation, Implantology and Biomaterials (ESORIB). This masters included 10 theoretical and practical modules that made Addys improve her skills from small to big oral rehabilitations both in the functional and aesthetic aspect.

Since 2017 she has been a member of the Spanish Society of Endodontics (AEDE)

In her spare time Addys loves spending time with her family and her dog Max. She loves reading and traveling, she has visited more than forty countries.

Jessica graduated from Leeds University Dental Institute in 2011 with a B.Ch.D. She then remained in Yorkshire for almost ten years gaining experience in all aspects of Dentistry. She has since completed membership examinations for The Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh(MJDF), and is currently at the end of completing her orthodontic diploma through Loughborough University. Jessica enjoys getting to know patients and in particular, helping them have a positive dental experience. Within the practice she works closely with the specialists trying to ensure patients receive the best outcome for their dental treatment. Outside of Dentistry, she is a mother of two young children and tries to keep up with them by enjoying fitness and travelling when the time permits.

Prince qualified in 1995 with a University Gold medal in Conservative Dentistry and was a clinical tutor in the Department of Oral Surgery and later in Conservative dentistry.

In 2001 he completed his three year full time Masters degree in Prosthodontics, topping his batch and went on to start his own General Dental practice with special emphasis on advanced fixed and removable prosthodontics for seven years.

In 2012 he was awarded the MFDS by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. His continuous zeal for dentistry has driven him to acquire higher qualifications in Endodontics and has completed the 18 month one-to-one training program in implant dentistry from the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield University Dental School. His other commitments include practicing as a Speciality Dentist in Prosthodontics at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University. Prince enjoys sharing his expertise as a Part-time Clinical teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the Liverpool University Dental Hospital and is a member of the British society for the study of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Dr Kelso qualified from Queen's University, Belfast, in 1997. He completed vocational training in Belfast before undertaking oral surgery experience at University Hospital, Aintree, Liverpool, and later on a part-time basis as a Hospital Practitioner in the oral surgery department at the Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

During this time, he gained his MFDS qualification and now practices solely within the General Dental Services with a special interest in oral surgery and implantology.

Dr Kelso has been trained to use several implant systems and currently favours the Straumann dental implant system. He is a mentor for Straumann training and keeps abreast of new and evidence based techniques both nationally and internationally. He has recently returned from the International Straumann Symposia in Switzerland and the USA

Dr Kelso has a keen interest in outdoor pursuits, plays hockey and has represented Ireland in this field.

Dr Varga is an oral surgeon with an untarnished record of clinical expertise, conscientiously gleaned from over 40 years' experience. She has worked in hospital and NHS settings, as well as in both primary and private care. As a Clinical Lecturer, she has also taught oral surgery, oral medicine and sedation to dental undergraduates, postgraduates and General Dental Practitioners.

Qualifying from Budapest's Semmelweis Medical School, Faculty of Dentistry in 1970, Dr Varga proceeded to come to England where she obtained her Licence in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons (LDSRCS) in 1975. In 1976, she was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine at The University of Liverpool Dental School.

She developed a special interest specifically focussed on the dental management of medically compromised and anxious patients relatively early on in her career, which led, after much research, her to later qualify as a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), in Liverpool, in 1996.

From 1998, she held part-time appointments as a Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and an Associate Specialist in Oral Surgery at the Liverpool Dental Hospital.

In 2016 she was offered, and accepted, the post of Locum Consultant in Oral Medicine, which she continued to do until her fairly recent retirement from both academic and hospital careers.

Although her work continues to motivate and inspire her, Dr Varga's new love has become her grandchildren, to whom, along with her interest in the cultural arts, she now most enjoys devoting her spare time.

Adrian is an examiner, supervisor and honorary clinical teaching fellow at the University of Warwick on the Orthodontic MSc course and has given several presentations on multidisciplinary orthodontics in general practice. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and the College of General Dentistry where he is an examiner for the orthodontic diploma.

He has been providing orthodontic treatments for children and adults in private general practice for over 18 years and is experienced in a wide range of fixed and removable appliances; incorporating orthodontics with advanced restorative and implant treatments.

He is an Elite Invisalign Go provider, an Elite Damon-System provider and an Accredited Incognito provider

In 2018 he was Portman Dental Group Clinician of the Year and provides orthodontic treatments on referral in five of their general private practices

In 2017 he won the British Orthodontic Society case presentation Award and was invited to present the case at the Winter Study Day in 2018

Dr Bennett is not accepting any new patient's as he is due to retire within the next 12 months. Roy qualified from Liverpool University in 1987. His career has focused on aesthetic dentistry & sedation techniques. He completed postgraduate training in Conscious Sedation (2002) and then MFGDP(UK) 2006 and a Diploma in Dental Science (2008). He is an accredited IACSD course organiser & teacher in clinical sedation with over 20 years experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He is a member and mentor of both the Dental Sedation Teacher Group (DSTG) and SAAD. He frequently helps local colleagues by accepting sedation referrals and supporting other dental practices in the North West.

Roy is also Director of Mellow Sedation Training Services.
