Implants – What happens when you lose a tooth?
If you’re missing a tooth or more, you may find there are other things you miss.
You may miss your natural smile. You may miss the ability to chew apples, crackers and other food you desire. Maybe you feel self conscious about your teeth and mouth, or discomfort as remaining teeth shift. Smile makeovers
Veneers – these provide a wafer thin mask to hide disclouration on teeth and close unsightly gaps, with little work being needed on the tooth itself.
Crowns – are a porcelain cover for either a damaged or unsightly tooth. They are carefully crafted to look natural and blend in with surrounding teeth.
Bridges – we can firmly fit a replacement tooth or teeth which are then carefully attached to adjacent teeth.
White fillings – If you have old or stained fillings that are visible when you smile, we can make them almost invisible.
Gum shields / Sports guards – If you play contact sport regularly, we can supply a custom made mouthguard. In fact we can not only help you, but the whole sporting club. By arrangement we can come and visit the club and look after the whole team on site.
Snore guards – up to 50% of adult patients suffer from snoring. The vast majority of patients and their families suffer in silence as they cannot usually be treated by their GP. Unfortunately the epidemic is worsening, age and weight are key contributing factors in sleep disorders and the UK population is both ageing and experiencing record levels of obesity.
However, for 90% of snorers a simple consultation followed by the correct prescription can result in a dramatic increase in the quality of life.
Snoring has a profound negative physiological and sociological effect on patients. Apart from the obvious tension in relationships and friction between partners, the health risk to snorers include reduced energy, increased risk of diabetes, elevated blood pressure, increased risk of cardiac problems and increased risks from driving while tired and elevated stress levels.
